Probably nothing, as EA forgot to implement anything even remotely resembling AI in RR3... Great game, but the way the computer behaves and (doesn't) responds to player input is cringeworthy

I have a feeling that this would be an amazing game if it were available for console/PC. I just can't take it on my phone. (also, I only have like 1GB of free space on my ROM)

I have it on my phone and I frequently find myself wishing it was on a better platform. The car models are pretty good for iOS (and it has decals... unlike GT6). The tracks aren't quite GT6 quality but would probably be better on a better platform. The AI needs improvement but I like the variety of game modes (autocross, speed snap, drag racing, etc.). Plus, we'd finally have a decent on-track racing game with Porsches!

When I first got the game some sort of glitch gave me an infinite amount of in-game credits and gold. I don't know how it happened but I basically had unfiltered access to everything in the game. I actually had a fair amount of fun too. I was able to drive the P1 the day I downloaded it.
And then EA caught on to the glitch and started banning people from online competition. Then they made it to where you couldn't even play a single player race. Finally they just outright reset my account and now I'm back at the beginning, grinding for 20 minutes or so before I have to wait an hour-plus for a repair to finish.
It blows... but for some reason I keep playing. I just refuse to give them any cash.

I still play but every time I wait an hour to play reminds me why I hate EA and their ability to ruin perfectly good games.

I play in phases. I might spend a couple days putting time into it than I get pissed and stop for awhile. CSR Racing and CSR Classics are slightly better options in the F2P market, but those are just timed-button-push drag races. At least the cars look nice and they just got the Ferrari licensing.

Yes? I actually quit playing the game myself a long time ago (my sister decided to update the last completeable version, 1.1.2 to the latest version then in a moment of infinite wisdom). I still drop by a fan site I once did some work for from time to time, and that's how I found that gif.
Prior to 1.2, RR3 was indeed hard to complete without paying, but it was doable (in fact some users of the aforementioned fan site did just that). Nowadays, even those people say it's completely impossible with the laest versions, and quite a few have stopped playing as well.
Well, what can I say apart from the bleedingly obvious, that is either mobile game players are extremely gullible or there is something about mobile gaming that brings out the absolute worst in publishers.
